Oil and Polish Remover

I can't recall exactly when I made the switch to this, but I'm a huge fan of this stuff. 

  • The main use for this is to dissolve/remove oils left behind after polishing.  I use it after compounding to make sure I'm getting a clear view to check my work before moving on to finishing. 
  • It also ensures the oils from the compound aren't interfering with your next polishing step.
  • Then we use it again after all polishing is complete to make sure our sealant/wax/coating bonds well with the paint.
  • It can also be used on glass to prep it for sealant/coating.

I like that it's not as grabby as using isopropyl alcohol (IPA), and it smells wonderful.  It really depends on my mood, but I'll use it with my Waffle Weave, Wax Removal Towel, or even the Drying Towel.
